MY NEW HOME...

So my first post I am going to show you all some of the lovely new items I bought when I moved into my new flat <3. When me and my fiancé moved I really wanted to make my new home a lot more comfortable, stylish and more mature. In our old flat I had a lot of pink and too many flowers for my fiancé to handle really! And I needed to change the flat to suit us both. So here it is..

I had so many ideas... and to be honest the interior designer in me started to come out :). I started looking at all of the online shops, from Matalan, Tesco, Asda, Dunelm, to also places like Next and Primark!.  I really wanted to create a vintage, classy and shabby chic kind of look. Unfortunately due to us renting I am unable to change certain things I would like to (Like the walls) but I have worked with it all and I think I have achieved what I wanted too :). 

I don't know about you all but I am a total girly girl, Like in my old flat I do love pink, flowers and everything to look pretty, but well I am nearly 23 years old now, and I wanted to show my sophisticated side, so I started looking in multiple catalogues to get some inspiration. After sifting through many catalogues I chose on Grey and White. It says to me.. classy, shabby, mature yet very feminine also. 

I will show you my bedroom on this post, This was the room in which I completed first, I must say I fell in love straight away! As I am sure you all know moving can take a while to sort out everything, get rid of boxes etc. , and our lounge was jam packed! So I decided to complete the bedroom first :) 

Right so to start... 

BHS:- Crystalised Lamp and Shade

This is such a gorgeous lamp. It is clear glass crystal at the bottom and has a lovely white ruffled lampshade. It ties in so well with the rest of the bedroom and looks very elegant! When I purchased it, it was in the BHS sale for around £32. From £90! So I saved myself so much money there! I would certainly recommend BHS lighting. Classy at very cheap prices!

Primark:- Heart fairy lights

I bought these for £6 last year. They are battery powered so saves on your electricity bills! They look so cute wrapped around my bed and especially to give the bedroom more of a relaxed feel in the evening putting these fairy lights on makes you feel very at home. Definitely a must have product!

Asda:- 'LOVE' cushion

I purchased this online at asda. I fell in love with this cushion! ahah ''Love''. I really liked the 'Scrabble' effect on the cushion. It was funny when I received the cushion I didn't realise that the product has two different sides! As you can see in the photo below the other side says 'Home'. It is such a lovely scatter cushion to make a bedroom more cosy, and with is changeable sides you can add a different look daily. I think it only cost me £8! Bargain!

And last but not least my....

 Dunelm Mill:- Toulouse White Side cabinet

I really needed a new side cabinet for the bedroom to match with my bed. I then magically found this gorgeous range from Dunelm Mill. I have never purchased anything from this store before, but the cabinet came already assembled, and I loved it straight away! I now want to purchase the whole collection! This side cabinet is £69.99. A definite purchase for any bedroom!
